Round 4 is too fast for occasional tables, but tinkering in turn 1 is more or less impossible because Sollande and Manakrypta are rare or non-existent. This also makes turn 2 quite rare and essentially requires 2 specific cards out of 99. DIY happens more often from Turn 3 and kills Round 6. It`s always fast for casuals, but it`s a fight win, so a bit friendly. Also, it`s slow enough that a slower, bulkier interaction, more commonly played in casual groups, can handle it. It has simply never been printed in a modern legal package before. So, just to be sure. Forbidden or „simply not legal“ leads to the same result. It can`t be used on modern tournaments, right? 3: I don`t want to get bogged down in whataboutism, but for artifact combos, I don`t think crafting speeds you up as much as fast mana. These apps are powerful, but the power here is as much, if not more, that Tinker is another artifact tutor than he puts the thing on the line. It`s obviously powerful, but not obscenely broken or terribly funny.
Previously, such announcements were made on a planned basis (usually two to three months) with the consistency of standard legal sets and major tournaments such as the Pro Tour.
